Karen Bruton paid 113 for the March calls. She shorted the Feb 27 calls at 112. She paid 1 point for the calendar.

$350,000 in edge loss to perpetuate the scam.

What I am trying to convey is not that she burned through $350K on a bad trade... but that she intentionally threw away an additional $350,000 of client funds, in one three-day trade, to mask 10s of millions in losses and receive performance fees when she actually DOWN <$100 million> to date.

She did this dozens of times. Further millions lost on -edge to perpetuate the fraud.

Yeah. I get it. So it is not that options guys are crazy, (which they are), but the biggest frauds in the industry do it WITH options, to defraud the hell out of their clients, or to cover up the fact that they are losing their OPM shit, with masking trades IN options.

Dest, let's face it, you're hyper-psycho on options, so you are buggering intelligent. I see the balances you post. Very nice.

Such a shame that all these other assholes use your field to manifest their crimes of defrauding all sorts of folks.

Option is the same as day trading, swing trading, future trading, currency trading, etc. Those that don't know what they are doing will pay dearly, provide liquidity to the market.

I would say option is actually much better than the others because it is probability based, like blackjack and poker, you can actually calculate your odds.

    My favorite part:
Hope employees maintained a spread sheet that tracked, month to date, the realized losses of the Funds. As the end of each month approached, Bruton picked the amount of profit she wished the Funds to show (and de facto, the fees she wished to generate), and her traders would size the Scheme Trades accordingly.

  7. Many options traders are delusional, referring to blown trades , good money after bad , as 'repairing' the position

Karen was simply repairing her trade indefinately.

    Case closed
