Her voice just wraps around you, like loving arms. It's really interesting that so many folks are just discovering her/them in the last couple of years (myself included) as evidenced by you tube reactions.
Never liked her voice. Give me Ella Fitgerald or Doris Day. Most women don't sing much better than Yoko Ono.
She's probably the best pop singer but no way she is better than great Opera or Jazz singers. She doesn't have that kind of range.
