  1. India has not memorialized such an agreement yet and remains a "very long way" from a clean grid. The country said it is ahead of schedule to meet the initial carbon reduction pledged under the Paris Agreement. Coal still accounts for about 70% of the country's electricity generation and consumption at plants will rise 10% this year. In fact, the climb is expected to continue every year through "at least 2027".

  2. D.C. Circuit Court Judge Laurence Silberman outlined his opposition to the Supreme Court’s key decision in 1964 in New York Times v. Sullivan, which has since protected many media outlets from lawsuits.

    Silberman,
the ruling is “a threat to American Democracy” and must be overturned.

“The increased power of the press is so dangerous today because we are very close to one-party control of these institutions. Our court was once concerned about the institutional consolidation of the press leading to a ‘bland and homogenous’ marketplace of ideas. It turns out that ideological consolidation of the press (helped along by economic consolidation) is the far greater threat,” he continued.

“Although the bias against the Republican Party—not just controversial individuals—is rather shocking today, this is not new; it is a long-term, secular trend going back at least to the ’70s. (I do not mean to defend or criticize the behavior of any particular politician).

Two of the three most influential papers (at least historically), The New York Times and The Washington Post, are virtually Democratic Party broadsheets. And the news section of The Wall Street Journal leans in the same direction. The orientation of these three papers is followed by The Associated Press and most large papers across the country (such as the Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, and Boston Globe).

Nearly all television—network and cable—is a Democratic Party trumpet. Even the government-supported National Public Radio follows along,” he added.

  4. "Rev. Wilhelmus Tulak, a priest at the church, said he had just finished celebrating Palm Sunday Mass when a loud bang shocked his congregation," the AP writes. "He said the blast went off at about 10:30 a.m. as a first batch of churchgoers was walking out of the church and another group was coming in."

Over the past years Indonesia's minority Christians have been subject of multiple Islamist attacks and bombings of churches. Not only is Indonesia the most populous Muslim country in the world, but it has large pockets especially in rural areas where hardline clerics and militant groups hold sway.

Security footage captured the moment of the terrifying explosion...

Indonesian Christians especially tend to be targeted during their holidays such as Christmas and Easter. The AP reviews: "Indonesia has a history of battling Islamist extremist groups. In December, police arrested the head of Jemaah Islamiyah, an Al Qaeda-aligned terror group most famously known for a 2002 bombing that killed more than 200 people."

  7. Christians in China are being detained in secretive, mobile "transformation" facilities where they're subject to brainwashing, torture and beatings to force them to renounce their faith, a new report has revealed.

Li Yuese, a member of an underground "house church" in the southwestern province of Sichuan, told Radio Free Asia he was held in a facility run by the ruling Chinese Communist Party’s United Front Work Department for 10 months after a raid on his church in 2018.

  9. The interesting thing about free speech is that one has the right to posts various views and let others make up their own minds.

The Censorship mob of the dems fuels by MSM and disformation- knows no free speech.

In the twitless world the NY post is censored for posting on Biden corruption, documented and verified.

    Welcome to my ignore list.
