Still haven't received my K1 from the prop firm I am with as I had to file late (again). Anyone else dealing with this.

What prop firm are you with ?

  3. You don't need a K-1 to file actually. They are not attached to the 1040, FWIW. Your taxable income should have been readily available for you.

Still no reason to not have it by now.

  4. I haven't received mine either. A lot of extensions being filed this year. I'm still going through all my documents trying to figure out what's going on. I can't really blame the firm though. These tax codes change like a girl changes clothes. I am experiencing the same issues in my non-trading businesses as well. It's not a recession, it's a robbery. It's starting to get a little out of hand with all the licensing requirements and all the other pyramid schemes geared towards people involved in the financial community.
