I assure you running an organization is not a video game and you don’t get to just pass the buck. Everyday businesses and governments face challenges and have to adapt to changing markets and operating conditions. This is where leadership makes all the difference in the world. Creating a false equivalency and writing all leaders off as kooks doesn’t jibe. The deficit is either increased or decreased, the budget stays the same or changes, jobs get outsourced and created. These are all issues presidents deal with. Some more successfully than other. Some presidents run the country into the gutter and others make improvements. There’s no reason to be morose about the structure of our government. It’s structure is what allows for change both good and bad. Balance sheets are outlays verse inlays, liabilities and assets. Here is the financial report of the US government for 2017 for your review: https://www.fiscal.treasury.gov/fsreports/rpt/finrep/fr/17frusg/02142018_FR(Final).pdf
Ok, so you implied that Trump was ruining the fiscal status of the United States. What are you referring to, specifically?
I didn’t imply, I made a direct statement to the effect of Trump and the current republicans in Congress are among the worst fiscal managers in our country’s history. They enacted a massive net deficit tax scheme that increased the structural deficit by ~40%. This was reckless and stupid because republican business policies create a boom-bust business cycle so not only are we incurring major recession level debt, we will incur much greater debt when the Republican caused economic bust occurs. Please note I am not inclined to continuously answer your questions until you find some minor hole to obfuscate to.
NOTE TO TARDS: Kavanaugh swearing in ceremony at 7 eastern time tonight. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!! You're welcome.
The left is reduced to arguing about overspending. Its just so sincere. Its like a Hagan Daz telling us to stop eating so much ice cream. By the way tax revenues went up and we have been overspending for a very long time. At this point I say lets just eliminate income taxes and actually debate about where we should be spending. If we overspend instead of borrowing the money just create it. Then we all share in the burden of inflation. We all would then have skin in the game.
