Justice Thomas , in a lapse of logic, did not take into proper account that there has been hearings to a absolutely absurd degree in the lower courts already, and that a protracted and embarrassing hearing in the Highest Court would certainly do nothing to quiet those who are convinced the election was "overwhelming won" by Donald Trump and that there existed a grand conspiracy to steal the election from Mr. Trump. Those many lower courts ruled, in effect, that the numerous cases brought did not constitute a legitimate questioning of the election because there was no evidence of fraud presented that a rational person could believe, once the true facts were known. The lower courts all correctly refused to let all but one case brought on a technicality proceed. There were tens of these case brought before the lower courts. This constitutes a more than adequate hearing of what turned out to be absurd claims of the those bringing these cases. This issue will not be laid to rest however, and certainly not because the High Court refused to hear it in full, but rather because of one, charismatic, and extremely dangerous cult leader: a man who intentionally turned a murderous mob lose on his political opposition and his own vice president; a desperate man driven to extreme actions by extreme clinical narcissism and fear of prosecution; a man who would be an autocrat were we to permit it. He persists to spread lies, race hatred, and civil unrest wherever he goes. The worst mistake anyone can make is to believe him, and in so doing ignore the dire threat he poses to our democracy.
