No worries mate. Conviction by the âeye ballâ method seems to be good all around. Why, just look at those saggy breast. Those are the breast of a nursing woman. Compare those to the big round angelic eyes. Those are clearly the eyes of a young girl. My God, that must be a child who is nursing a baby! Get the probes! [/sarcasm]
Broken bones and assumptions. The media should have mentioned that more than half of all children will sustain at least one broken bone before adulthood. All of the parents are guilty of abuse if their child has had a broken bone? All the members of the sect just have to be guilty because that's what those subhumans are all about? 41 of the 464 children or 9% have sustained a broken bone as determined by guessing, no full body mega dose X-rays yet. That's a long way from 50% plus. I would suspect those kids to have a higher percent of broken bones than the outside world because I doubt those kids sit around and play video games, watch TV, internet, etc. I doubt the abuse of those children is any different than the outside, civilized world.
I doubt the abuse of those children is any different than the outside, civilized world. --------------------------------- You could be absolutley correct. Only the media is sensationalizing the large number. You could probably find these numbers over the course of a year in certain counties. You could probably take the number of years that the ranch has been there divide the number of abuse cases over the number of years and come up with some statistics within the general population.
What do you think is the percentage or number of underage pregnancies in the inner cities of this country? I'd still like to know why the tanks aren't being sent in and mass dna sampling isn't taking place in the inner cities. Why is it ok for them, but not for a religious group?
just like everything else coming out of texas cps... all sensationalism and no facts. i think we are at the point where the cps agents are under tremendous pressure to produce something or heads are gonna roll. a lot of careers could be ruined by this and they know it. what is extremely important to watch right now is how complicit the national media is. they aren't stupid.. well except Nancy Grace... the sensationalism has been stepped up to panic levels. i haven't seen it this bad since they were lying for the neocons and scaring everyone with wmd's and other "terror" boogeymen.
What do you think is the percentage or number of underage pregnancies in the inner cities of this country? ------------------------------------------ It is different. There are other methods to handle these cases. Call a cop, for instance. They can be prosecuted (within age limits) but it's just not done.
On a serious note, I keep thinking about what it must be like for those kids. The poking, prodding, massaging of their âprivateâ areas by strangers, while being told its for their own good. The young ones are so sensitive about their bodies, and the older ones are protective of theirs. All on a whim to start, but now as a witch hunt. How sad
I had the same question as chuck. If the guy's wife wanted to stay with him, why did she go along with being "reassigned" to another guy? Why wouldn't she just leave the compound with him? Because she was brainwashed? How do you ever prove that without basically saying she isn't competent to make her own decisions? I understand it is a cult, and many people in cults do odd or irrational things because of the pressure. Unless they are being kept there against their will however, I am not sure how much the government can do.
Many children are reluctant to see a doctor and be examined by a stranger. Have you ever been in a pediatric office? Children put up quite a fight just to have their ears looked at much less anything else. I know my son does. If you were observing a pediatric doctors office, you would hear lots of crying, and many tantrums of children in america. I have heard that all of the children of the ranch are accompanied by their mother when being examined. Doctors have insisted on that.
I am not assuming the wife was "unwilling" as chuck ell thought I assumed. I am assuming she went (willingly.) Why do I assume that, (and yes I know it is not good to assume, but since chuck ell assumed that I assumed she was unwilling,) than I have to say I assume she went (willingly) because she has been taught to obey the prophet. Why didn't she leave the compound? Becasue she also has been taught that outsiders are evil, and if she goes to the outside there will never be a place with god for her when she dies. So to leave is terrifying for her. Her husband did not want his wife and children taken from him. I assume this becasue in the article he says he is "heartbroken" But the husband has also been taught the laws of god and to obey his prophet, so I will assume he was (willing) to let his wife and children be taken becasue he wants to obey the prophet like he has been taught, and he fears what might happen to him on the outside, and he will not make it to heaven. But he was heartbroken. I want to say AAA that I think it is terrible that the children right now are most likely in culture shock and very much afraid. They have been taught too that the outside is a bad place. I don't agree at all about the mothers and children being seperated. I think it is thoughtless and heartless. No I don't think for a minute that these people are inferior or unable to make a decision, What I think is when they do make a decision it will be based on what they know about the world they live in. Do you think they understand if they refuse to give up their son or daughter to a situation that is harmful to the son, or the daughter just doesn't want to be with a man, that they will not suffer the wrath of god? No, they feel it is gods command and they have to obey. But like chuck ell said, if someone tells them it is ok to not take the command of their prophet, than that is implying that one god is better than another. What do you think is the best way to handle this situation?
