Ratboy, the tanks and police were precautionary in the event this polygamist group had their own weapons. They did not know what they might be up against so they prepared for worse case scenario. Better to be prepared for the worse than taken by surprise, yes? No one was hurt or killed during this raid. There is testimony from ex members to have enough evidence that this is a cult run by men for the pleasure of men to have many wives, and very, very young ones too. These baby girls from birth are taught to be submissive and compliant. They have no rights. They have had their lives literally owned by these men. No one is thinking about these girls civil liberties. They are no better than slaves in many ways. I agree the hoax call raises questions unanswered so far, but that does not dismiss the probability of this being a sicko cult. You are right though, there is more to this story than any of us know.
