He should also be able to provide tools to address these issues (there is more than one that requires resolving)

  2. I dont think there isnt a trader who doesnt struggle sometimes or doesnt want to improve his trading skills . I still do think psychology is the long term secret to consistent profit keeping the stress down to a minimum . AS far as following a trading plan 100% you will make errors and it will have to do with your state of mind .

  3. Seems like you might be revenge trading or impulse trading to make up losses?

Also, perhaps trade less, perform better?

    Maybe I'm missing something.

Reduce your discretionary trading to a systemic one, backtest it, once it's proven profitable, trade it with no need for emotions.

If you can't reduce it to a system, at least have a systemic exit/reversal strategy. backtest it, once optimized, trade with it, and with no need for emotions.

    Good luck.

Anger Management classes never worked for me when I worked for government, management sent me regularly, and they never helped when I had done something stupid outside of my Trading Plan, broken many monitors, keyboards, holes in walls/ceilings/windows, had punching bag put in my office, saved me much money in long run. Cat got use to me screaming at him or became deaf.

I changed my thinking and my systems from trying to make the most profits and highest winning percentages to not caring about making profits at all and lowest losing percentages. In other words I was making profits but drawdowns were more than I could handle. If you not losing often, profits should go up. That was five years ago, have not broken anything since and actually doing far better in account than before, made me realize I can add more signals long term but concentrate more on risk management than just money management. I see money management in terms of stops, time, reasons of not taking trades and targets. Risk management is back testing based on risk and how to better to hedge.

So if you having anger issues, subconscious is telling you your systems might not agree with your personality.
