Just to prove gun control nuts are full of shit

  1. No doubt, but the winds of change are upon us. If it were 1776 I'd say let's grab our muskets and give'em hell. Today that's a deadly exercise in futility. Younger folks will get a dramaticly different country evolve. Maybe it goes to hell, maybe not, but the change is upon us.
It ain't all that hard to figure out why. Both parties are bought and paid for. The elites laugh all the way to the bank no matter which side wins. You got one side selling shit, but giving you a free buck or two to eat it. The other side, being the republicans, they are selling shit too and just telling us to buck up and eat it. Gee, wonder which side will get more support?

As long as their are 'sides' it's imperative that those on the minorty side voice and vote their opiinions. For all to capitulate their ideals is to end the republic.

Grow a backbone, CO, and quit blowing with the wind.

You mean barbarians. It is offensive to the population of the country to see pictures of lawmakers behaving like this.

It's better than some of the wimps and ideolgical trators we see now. Our country has survived political duels (yes, with real guns) and it will survive lawmakers standing on ideals again.

Our country will survive and prosper as long as we change when times change.

An ideal used to be burn the witch, Earth is the center of universe and so on.

People who, several centuries ago, challenged Church were also called traitors, and they are treated as heroes now. Look at our founding fathers, they all were called traitors, the examples are numerous.

A word traitor is a strong one, do not use it lightly just because someone holds a different opinion.

What do you consider reasonable gun control laws and what makes you think the people committing these crimes will obey those laws?

That certainly sounds like something a liberal would say. And since you tried to use an old saying on me how about this one back at ya, "The more things change, the more they stay the same."

Technology can change, morality can change but the basic nature of human beings does not. You must be careful of trying to change the core values that make a society and changing the embodiment of that society into something unrecognizable.

If you can't recognize the core values that must be preserved, then you might as well live in a place such as Russia where those things are decided for you.

A traitor to principal is a strong word and is being used in proper context.

As RCG might say, look deep into your soul for the truth, RedDuke, that truth will set you free.

  10. I don't disagree. The minority side is deserving of an opinion, but compromise ain't capitulation. Even Reagan knew that.
