    i need opinions regarding any up to date reading materials that are available

    most of the books i have seen are pretty dated

  4. John Murphy's Technical Analysis book

    Market Wizards, "Scwager" Just to show you what's possible.

    Any of the psychology books. I prefer The Disciplined Trader, by Douglas.

    Do a search on Traders Library or Traders Press for books. Amazon has most of em too.

    Believe it or not, most of the better trading books I've read were published before the .com bubble.

    Japanese Candlesticks - Nison
    Trading in the Zone - Douglas

    you can get them used on Amazon for pretty cheap, then sell them back when you're done.
