One other thing--the S&P 500 has ended in the green in every pre-election year since 1942. It even managed a tiny positive return in '87. This doesn't mean we won't see more corections this year, but the permabears here are bucking some very strong seasonality. I imagine they were spouting the same doom & gloom around May-June last year ("expect a 30% drop," "major recession ahead," etc.).
anyone think the price action is strange? that is it just does not feel right? its almost as if everybody is waiting for someone to step up to the mark and show their hand first. i just get the feeling something smells a bit funny
I keep hearing this, the whole pre-election bull run, seems like everyone thinks that past results GUARANTEE FUTURE GAINs...
I have sidelined and focused on futures.I watch the composites go up and see my watchlist still bleed red. so.......
this has got to be a joke right. Dow steady falling, pathetic if it cant gain 50 points at the end of todays trading.
thats why I stick with market ETFs, they move alot quicker with the market than individual stocks do.
Bears rule this market. Take your gains while you can, bulls. Take them while the taking is good. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1385812#post1385812
