I"m at the end of my rope. I've been at this for so long and still can't get it right. I always take 2 steps forward and then 5 back time after time. I feel I know what to do I just can't seem to make myself do it when actually trading in the heat of battle. I feel I'm into deep and can't give it up. I still have a good job which I'm thankful for but I want to trade for a living. I'm just so frustrated with myself I can't stand to even look in the mirror anymore.
How long have you been trading? If you give something more specific you might get some constructive help. Are you saying that you have a plan but can't stick to it?
Flash, you've been posting about your trading troubles for years now. This may not be what you want to hear, but it might be best financially and mentally for you to just let trading go. All trades have a stop loss, including your career.
Do you really want to trade for a living or do you just want a different job? or more money? Not helpful for trading
1. get distance. immediately. stay away for ten weeks. don't look at the market, at any market. force yourself to do exactly that. spells: get rid of the addiction. and do not post on et. do not read on et. get your mind of the hook. 2. see what's happening. and act accordingly. take care.
Brain nutrition makes a big difference for me in all areas of life, trading especially. Available at any health food store are: Phosphatidylserine [found in many brain supplements] Ojmega 3 [take 3 grams a day, men need more than women and you can't od on the stuff, Eskimos get 11 grams a day. ] COQ10 [if you are over 35 years old. 200 mg a day has never been shown to have any side effect, the older you are the more you need] You can do your own searches, just google "brain nutrition". If you are a vegan then the list of stuff you need is even longer.
