Yesterday on the walk to the polling station it struck me that I had not completely made up my mind. Even though I felt like I needed to participate, in the back of my mind I knew I had a disdain for ALL politicians. Puppets one and all. I voted my party (R). Only weeks ago Obama was saying, 'don't worry where we've been the last eight years, but be hopeful about the next four' or some bullshit like that. And then last night while watching the victory speech with my non-voting wife who was shedding tears of joy, I heard him say it(see attached). What they all say. Just garbage trying to cover their asses and keep America hoping for a better life. Change? Uh, OK. We'll see. I hope I'm wrong. Maybe he'll surprise me.
