    I'll teach my son to read, write and balance a checkbook. And if he got into trouble, well, I'll find a solution to that. Parenting is the difference Ricter. Not more laws.

    I would have guessed you'd be a dad who'd teach his kids to shoot. You don't hunt, target shoot, nothing?

  4. Because a kid cannot depend on an adult to protect him. He cannot depend on the law to protect him. A teacher, hall monitor cannot protect him. A kids parents may be awol, or tell the kid to go get back bike I just bought you that you let someone steal.

  9. You are right about guns laws and citizenry. I mean gun laws and the institutional gun runners that get these guns, and crack, into the neighborhoods. You know, those guys at the Lord of War level.

    Just how does a kid get his hands on an M-16 anyways?
