Just another day in Chicago

Yea. Why doesn't the NRA challenge that? Seems totally illegal. Man, if I had billions like the Koch Brothers, I'd hire a team of lawyers just to fight that.

 

We don't have an Attorney General for the federal government. We have an Obama political hack pretending to be one.

 

There have been numerous lawsuits challenging Second Amendment infringements by Illinois cities. I'm not aware of how they turned out or where they stand. probably they are on appeal, since the DC case undermined most of these laws.

 

Heavy rain kept things a little quiet Saturday night. Still have to get through one more day. 5 KIA, 26 wounded as of Sunday morning. Jesse was on another one of his useless anti-gun protest march at some gun shop Friday. They have about 20 of these per month. Doesn't seem to do much good. Denial of the real problem never does.

Weekend crime report. Quiet weekend for Chicago. Maybe the Gay pride parade had calming element to it.:eek:

Fairly sure that if we want to catch up on Chicago news, there are websites besides this one where we can do that. : )

 

I think the gang members were afraid if a stray bullet hit a gay person that they would be brought up on a hate crime. Far too risky.

 

But not nearly as much fun.

 

Ok, word of caution then: counting your curses can as easily become habitual as counting your blessings.
