  3. The uniform response in the media and from liberals was that this shows we need more gun control. Chicago and Illinois in general have draconian gun control. Some of these shootings were by people who could never have gotten past a background check in any state. They are already violating multiple gun laws, but to liberals the only sensible solution is to enact even more gun laws. All they do is burden law abiding people.

Lost in the media circus is the fact that there were no such incidents in the vast majority of the country, most of which have far looser gun laws.

They don't have a gun control problem in chicago. They have a thug control problem.

Its easier to buy a gun in Arkansas, than Chicago;Even though the Clintons are gun haters; southern + western+ rural ''gun culture ''is simply stronger....................................

And Mr. Edward Klein has just written a blockbuster book ''Blood Fued''[Clintons- gun haters, hatred -fued against the Pres Obama gun haters,LOL:D]

  9. Not Chicago, but it might as well be. All these hoods are the same, and this is why these stupid f'n savages will never know anything but violence in their communities. If they're mot minimizing or excusing the behavior, they're idolizing it.

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — A day after a rookie police officer was gunned down in an ambush, mourners came to pay their respects at a makeshift memorial with candles, balloons, empty liquor bottles and messages of love from friends scrawled on T-shirts taped to a brick wall — to his killer.

"Rest easy," ''Thug in peace" and "See u on the other side" were among the things friends wrote to Lawrence Campbell, who police say ambushed Officer Melvin Santiago early Sunday as he responded to an armed robbery call at a 24/7 pharmacy. Other officers returned fire, killing Campbell.

Visitors to the memorial would not give their names to The Associated Press. But Barbara Jones, Campbell's neighbor, told The Jersey Journal that the Campbell she knew was nothing like the man city officials say was lying in wait for officers to arrive before opening fire.

"He was a good man. He looked out for everybody on the block," Jones told the newspaper.

Almost all the time you hear that crap ..... "He was a good boy". Next we'll have the NAACP out protesting say the cops ambushed him.
