I'm just sharing about my lifestyle...I'll examine myself to see if an ego is involved. I'm 67 (going on 68). I like the idea that I can pretty much walk away from the market for about a week and not go bananas at what happened during that week... I think my trading style is like that 80 year old widow who goes to Morgan Stanley/Merrill with a couple million. She is going into assisted living (future rest home) and doesn't want to worry about her assets... For me, connecting with my daughter, son in law, and grand kids was so much more important than market movement... Double heart bypass, stent, congestive heart failure, it's time to stop and smell the roses, before it is too late...
ah got it. so you are one of the investor type guy. leave it forget it. similar to my 401k. i just set it and forget it until i'm 62 and then look at it again.
