There's nothing wrong with them, its typical mob psychology, entirely natural in fact. A mob will always attack the weakest/most available victim, very often whatever gets in the way of their intended target, in exactly the same manner as dogs. Provided the lead dog continues to beleive they personally can win, (regardless of the fact theirs nothing too win, and they should be attending to first aid /emergency procedures) the rest will follow. Never have understood the "Pulled from a car and beaten" thing. Wouldn't happen to me. But I would be stopping by a car wash soon after anybody tried. Lots of stuff would need to be cleaned from the undercarriage...
