In Newsom's position i wouldn't risk it by running and ending up like Hillary.
When he is young enough to wait and win the nomination properly and run after a second term incumbent Republican and the country wants a Democrat back in office.

  3. Trump lied...yawn. Trump got convicted...yawn. orange man bad...yawn. Yawn, yawn, fucking yawn. There's nothing new we learned about Trump. What was indisputably confirmed last night was Biden is gone, mentally unfit and incapable. Even the most rabid supporters are acknowledging this. It's full blown panic time at the DNC. They dicked around far too long and now what?

  6. Newsom would be one of the worst choices. Hillary and Harris are worse than him, but anybody from CA is going to struggle. I think he's the favorite, but anybody who's been in CA over the past few years knows how bad the homeless situation is and the fact that you can't leave anything in your car. Booker, Beshear, Shapiro, and Whitmer are logical safer choices if their number one goal is defeating Trump. Pritzker is another name thrown around a lot, but Chicago is a disaster as well.

From the daily mail a week ago:

They can expect legal challenges from Republicans looking to prevent any other Democratic nominee from getting on the ballot in certain states.

Wisconsin does not allow withdrawal from the ballot for any reason besides death.

WISCONSIN — It's already too late to remove Joe Biden from the ballot.

NEVADA—After tonight, the fourth Friday in June, it will be too late to remove Joe Biden.

GEORGIA—Only a few weeks remain before it will be too late to remove Biden from the ballot.

  8. If this is true, a Newsom/Whitmer ticket looks pretty likely at this point.

Most of the cases filed against President Donald Trump designed to bleed him of campaign funds and keep him off the campaign trail. Massively backfired on the Democrats because the voters see the Justice system being abused as some of them were under the current Criminal Justice System. He got more sympathy votes and campaign cash. President Donald Trump might get probation. More serious is the classified data case but, Presidential immunity case waiting on the US Supreme Court. They will be hard to explain why Joe Biden did not even get charged when he was a lowly Senator hiding classified documents? Joe Biden should have been charged, no ifs and buts. Atleast, President Donald Trump had a right to the classified documents being US President and getting security briefings at Mar A Lago.
