I read on Bloomberg that Facebook may release the specific ads paid for by Russian entities during the campaign. That might erase at least some doubts, and at the same time we will hear that anything Facebook personnel say is not to be trusted, fake news.

For any evidence of collusion, if there is any, between the Trump campaign and the Russian effort to flood U.S. social media with false information, we will have to wait probably at least until next summer at the earliest. Reports are that the White House is not cooperating with Mueller's team. and that means Mueller will have to go through the courts to get the information he is seeking. That will slow the investigation.

You might have missed this but russian accounts were also promoting Black lives matter, and all kinds of other divisive issues. It seems more than anything the trolls were out there doing what trolls do..... pissing people off and trying to create division. it sure doesnt look like collusion, and to claim that Russian ads totalling 100k made a difference when Hillary spent over a billion seems pretty ridiculous in my opinion, unless there is someting i dont know about.

All good points. So at this point there should be universal agreement that the Russians did in fact try to influence U.S. citizens and U.S. politics via social media and the internet. The effectiveness of their efforts is unknown, and we don't know whether there was any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives financing or carrying out this disinformation campaign. Probably the Mueller investigation will answer the latter question for us sometime late next summer, at the earliest I would think.

  5. Wikileaks is a Russian front. Assange has to do Russia's bidding.

You people act like Trump campaign, Mercers and Russia didn't spend billion dollars. 10 million people saw the Russian ads and we are just getting to know that NOW after nearly a year, Russians secretly met with the Trump campaign - we came to know about this AFTER a year of that meeting, what else they have done only Mueller can find out.

Let’s all remember Juliann Assange is the guy that published the documents then Bradley Manning stole from the US military. Assange is anti American. He also published Russian hacked materials to help Trump win the election.

Assange is not someone any American should trust, for any reason, unless you don’t like your country.

The argument that internet advertising and stolen opposition research has no bearing on election outcomes is totally stupid. Why do campaigns advertise and release opposition research then?

LOL, guys on the leftlove throwing out this "Ten Million" number like its statistically relevant, guess what, it costs about 1 cent per click, which means if they spent 100k, they got 10 million clicks.

Meanwhile Hillary dropped over a billion and spent far more than that on facebook, and also the russians targeted groups like BLM, muslim groups, etc, to try to create division. There is zero evidence of collusion, zero chance of impeachment, and less than zero chance identity politics will ever become popular again, you are losing and now you need a conspiracy theory, congrats, you are now no different than the birthers.

When your guy won by a margin of 80000 votes, that 10 million is very statistically relevant.

Russians spent 200 million on the Trump promotion campaign, even their BLM ads were there to trigger Cons into supporting Trump.

The thing is, Trump and Russians ran a massive disinfo campaign, no matter how much money Hillary had, she can't have said that Trump is running a pedo ring in his Trump Tower basement, that only the right could do.

Zero evidence of collusion line was fine till Don Jr's emails were released, that's textbook collusion.

Hell even Judge Napolitano, one of Trump's biggest ballwasher agrees
