Looks like the headline really is that the judge offered Flynn several times to withdraw the guilty plea and finally when he realized he wouldn't, he lashed out at Flynn.
If Flynn was not working as a foreign agent... I think we need to know what the hell is going on? How did Judge Sullivan get that impression? If I am Flynn's lawyer's I am already preparing my appeal of the sentencing. In my opinion the Judge can no longer deal him anything but a no jail time sentence without a strong chance of losing on appeal. Frankly, everything about this Flynn matter seems sketchy as hell. There must be much more going on behind the scenes.
If that was all there was too it, the Judge would have done a fine job... letting this guy know he was going to lock him up so perhaps he might wish to withdraw his plea. But that back and forth was only part of what happened. The judge started asking about treason? And may have had his facts and timing wrong.
