I'm amazed this hasn't been a bigger ongoing story. If GOOG was actually complicit in click fraud, they should have been criminally prosecuted, its execs should be in jail and the stock should be trading in single digits. The fact that they settled this case makes you wonder, although I'm sure they would argue they didn't pay any money to settle and it was for nuisance value only. I can't see who would benefit from click fraud other than them, so if it took place, you have to think they were involved in it.
