There must be a standalone (vs. browserbased) version around, but most brokers prefer to keep it hidden in the closet.
only other guess I have is that XP does not come with Java, and JTrader is probably java based, given it's name. you'll have to install Java from java.sun.com yourself.
It looks like Jtrader is a browser based product. Your problem is with the IE upgrade. Either- you have a clean version of the new IE and need to download java support for it. Or your IE was merely upgraded and you are still attempting to use the old java plug-ins. Try downloading java. see- Netscape-Style Plug-ins Do Not Work After Upgrading Internet Explorer (Q303401) http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q303401
install VM for IE, XP compliance http://www.microsoft.com/java/vm/dl...loads/release.asp?ReleaseID=25395&redirect=no
3) click on this url, then click on login proptrade 2.8 link http://www.pmbinc.com/proptrader/ptraderlogin1.html
folder was already deleted. installed JVM 3805 and tried to log in. No prompt to install. Guess I was just the unlucky one!!! Thanks, Todd
If your broker wants to make money, he better should find a solution to this problem. Refco is very funny, they simply say: Win XP not supported. ( www.pmbinc.com/proptraderspecifications.htm )
