Basically, my IB data is showing that the stock didn't open till 9:35 est and when it did, the stock tumbled to 5.70s and is recovering so far. They had earnings today so I anticipated a reaction, but there was no liquidity till 9:35 ... WTF happened? Was this just a 5 minute halt?
NYSE stocks sometimes open up to 7-8 minutes late, there's nothing out of the ordinary in that itself. You do realize the opening process is completely different from NASDAQ, right? Also, people throw "flash crash" around so easily nowadays. Take a good look of the real flash crash and these events are nothing of the sort.
