JP Morgan May Take Over Bank Of America

    They would control too many deposits. Some law about no more than 1 trillion in deposits with one bank and that was relaxed to get some of the mergers through in 2008. But BAC + JPM would be over 2 trillion in deposits.

    Ahhh, the big just keeping getting bigger........

    Folks, this is why there's NO hope for the economy over the next 1-3 years. Batten down the hatches.

    I'd like to see them spin off Merrill and make them independent again. The service has been terrible since the merger. Almost makes me want to move, but have had their CMA account since working there years ago.
