Journey Through the Tipping Point

  1. Some ET members have described their path to profitability by these stages. A newby/ consistent loser stage where every trade is instantly on the wrong side of the market or you go long right when the market tops. A breakeven stage where you can trade without losing a lot. A slightly profitable stage where you struggle to make $200/day. A breakthrough stage where trading is easy and you are reliably making several hundred a day.

What changes in trading made up your tipping point from struggling to get a profit to reliably profiting? Describe your trading journey through the tipping point. How long did it take? How did your trading change?

  2. it takes most people about 3 years, but most give up well before then.
