Warren Buffet has said diversificaiton is protection against ingnorance, however... If diversification increases your probability of making a winning trade, then is it still ignorance protection? He is dead on with his number one rule though - don't lose money. 6/8 winning trades this week in futures & fx. Will post picture when I get home. I've changed my approach once again just slightly. I use a variety of tools to time the markets, and they are all purely technical/statiscal.
You won't listen to this advice but you should be on sim until you know what your doing. Once profitable 12 out of 15 days go live 1 contract. The pros appreciate your donations thus far. Best wishes
@ 11308 (8000 starting) with futures account @ 2888 (3000 starting) with forex account Largest losing trade was a short I covered (-$533) in ZNM1, with one of the largest Monday long/buy biases ever. I saw the resistance point... Oops...
@ 11663 (8000 starting) with futures account @ 2791 (3000 starting) with forex account Wasn't paying close enough attention to my USD/JPY trade. 2/2 losses I took yesterday would have been less if I had waited (retrospect is a bitch).
