  1. Short EUR/JPY.

I send out a lot of resumes today and yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn't get much studying done. I have been worrying about getting a job that all I did was sending out resumes. I am applying to every accounting jobs I see.

It was a nice surprise to get a call earlier from an employer for an interview on Friday. I'll spend the whole day tomorrow to prepare for this interview. Hopefully I'll get the job.

I really need to get a job, so I could have some money to trade stocks and ES.

  2. My computer won't boot. Good thing I have an old laptop which I could use to get into my account.

Stop loss have been set to breakeven to preserve my capital.

  3. My interview got reschedule to next week. So, I spent most of my day reinstalling Windows XP. I lost a lot of files, including my trading log, which was the most valuable thing in that computer.

Anyway, I still couldn't get my computer to work, since I am having some driver issues. Once I get that fixed, I am gonna get an external hard drive to back up my files on a day-to-day basis.

Hopefully I could get a job soon, so I could buy a better computer that could run all those maintenance programs (anti-virus, adware, etc) without slowing down.

  4. I went on an interview today after I got a call from an employer to continue the scheduled interview as planned. The only change was that I was interviewing with the accountant. It was a quick interview, but I am still hopeful.

After my interview, I had the chance to meet up with some old co-workers. It was great to see them again. We had a great home made dinner together, and afterward we gathered in front of the tv to watch the Winter Olympic Openning Ceremony. Overall, I had a great time.

No trading today. Just watching my position and waiting for the opportunity to build a pyramid.

  8. It's a good book for a newbie like myself. It doesn't get too much into the technical side of trading, but it contain a lot on risk management philosophies that really help someone like me to preserve my capital.

For traders who are already successful, this book will probably be an entertaining read.

  9. Jeff, could you please let me know how you build your position? I just want to check it with what I know from the Market Wizards and to make sure the stuffs I read from the Market Wizards is really what the pros are doing.

    Thanks!

  10. I got stopped out. Good thing my stop loss was at break-even. My capital was preserved. Now I am gonna wait to see what's going on before I make the next move.

I spent some time today sending out resumes. It took a bit longer than usual. I had to re-write some of them, since my good resumes got wiped out when I had to reformat my hard drive.

I am a bit behind with my CFA study, but that's fine. My focus right now is to get a job and nothing else.
