Update: The GBP/JPY short got stopped out at break even awhile ago. Now I just shorted NZD/USD. I finally found a job (temp) after months of job hunting. Through these few months, I have learned a lot. I've learned to be even more proactive in my job hunt. I've also found out that I need to be more entrepreneurial, and to generate more than one stream of income in my life. It would definitely help reduce financial difficulties during the next recession. Tomorrow will be my first day in the new job. I am a bit nervous, but I am also excited about this opportunity. I will do my best, and hopefully, I will be able to turn this into a permanent role. PA
I just got back home from a good day of work, and I am totally exhausted. I gathered whatever energy I had left to do the laundry and make breakfast and lunch for tomorrow. I also got my stop loss set on break even for my NZD/USD trade. Thank goodness it's in the money. I am looking forward to add more to my position if it goes well. PA
How far are these trades getting into the money before they fall back to your stoploss at BE? Are you aiming too high? I'd like to see you grab a few pips here and there instead of just preserving capital..
Well, I really don't consider how far they go into the money before I adjust my stop loss. Since I am swing trading, the commission is cheap. I could exit and re-enter again with no big impact on my expected risk:reward. PA
Out with breakeven in one trade. In the red on the other. I am waiting for the other to go green, so I could put on more trades. PA
