Cramer on Fox. That pretty much sums up the state of financial journalism today. What a joke.

  3. It is all happening right in front of us. Do we sit here and take it?
In some sense we have to. It is so tangled by the growth of capitalism.

John Stewart takes sarcasm and uses it in its fullest definition. He is also on a position to be blameless of his actions and accusations by calling himself a comedian. And with his popularity, this, in my view, is the best position anyone can be in to be able to state his opinion, representing the powerless, and have the recipients cringe in their seats.

The people in the US deserve John Stewart as our spokesman, and it is about time that we call them on as many accounts as possible. After all, it is the nature of our society to prey on others. That's what made us, and that's what going to break us.
John is pointing out how capitalism can get out of control and be inhuman and immoral.

If anyone does not see this, then they are corrupt by the very vehicle that is causing it.

  4. Amazing. Just amazing. This was all so known, and you allowed the media to paint us as clowns, when they are part of it.

Now, we sweep up the rubble.

    amazing.

  5. I think this might be the nail in the coffin for cramers ratings.

is there a website that monitors and follows his picks? id like to see how he's done over the past 2 years.

There are several....but what good is that?

He gives no timeframe, and no exit.

I could call a stock at 30....have it go to ten and then to 35. Is that a $5 winner or a $20 loser?

And Stewart was too easy on him. Cramer was shown to be a lier and Stewart was too easy on him after that. It should of been a UFC style takedown from that point.

  7. well i think cramer goes for the investing crowd, so any pick would be measured over a yr at least. but i dont know.

and i found a site called cramerproject.com, and according to it, he's down 33%, but there is no starting or ending date.

  8. I agree with your statement about power fearing satire.

But I am not sure if anyone is really in power at CNBC.

Fox News yes, Roger Ailes is in charge, both of FNC and the sinking ship FBC. He is power and he is smart enough to understand satire.

Personally, I think CNBC is run by a bunch of recently promoted interns who are simply trying to fill air time with bad contracts like Mark Haines and Donny Deutch and some ditzy eye candy.

The stupidest show on this stupid network is Power Lunch, it is absolutely pathetic even if you do not turn on the sound.

Last week on Squawk Box, Becky Quick was gone and Caruso-Cabrera was subbing. Kernan was making fun of Power Lunch and the decabox. He even got a producer or a director to put up a decabox filled with pets and weird pictures.

This satire was not because CNBC is enlightened and therefore is comfortable with self-deprecating humor.

It was because the morning shift is smarter than the dolts on the noon shift and obviously there are no adults in charge, to tell them it is in bad form to make fun of your colleagues.

  10. Hey, did you catch Crambos excuse for sounding like he was a manipulator?

    "I was inarticulate"

Websters gonna add that as a synonym for "putting ones foot in ones mouth" in the next edition.
