  2. Subject: Louisiana

Jack was sitting in an airplane when another guy took the seat beside him. The new guy was an absolute wreck, pale, hands shaking, biting his nails and moaning in fear.

"Hey, pal, what's the matter?" Jack asked.

"Oh man...I've been transferred to Louisiana," the other guy answered. "There's crazy people in Louisiana and they have shootings, gangs, race riots, drugs, the highest crime rate..."

"Hold on," Jack interrupted, "I've lived in Louisiana all my life, and it is not as bad as the media says. Find a nice home, go to work, mind your own business, enroll your kids in a good school and it's as safe as anywhere in the world."

The other passenger relaxed and stopped shaking for a moment and said, "Oh, thank you. I've been worried to death, but if you live there and say it's OK, I'll take your word for it. What do you do for a living?"

"Me?" said Jack, "I'm a tail gunner on a Budweiser truck in Shreveport!"

The Lone Ranger and Tonto.... Camping!
The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert. After they got
their tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep.
Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, "Kemo Sabe, look
    towards sky, what you see?"
The Lone Ranger replies, "I see millions of stars."
"What that tell you?" asked Tonto.
The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute then says, "Astronomically
speaking, it tells me there are millions of galaxies and potentially
billions of planets. Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo.
Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three in the
morning. Theologically, the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and
insignificant. Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day
tomorrow. What's it tell you, Tonto?"
"You dumber than buffalo shit. Someone stole tent!"

  4. A man in the Florida supermarket tries to buy half a
head of lettuce. The very young produce assistant
tells him that they sell only whole heads of lettuce.

The man persists and asks to see the manager. The boy
says he'll ask his manager about it.

Walking into the back room, the boy said to his
manager, "Some asshole wants to buy half a head of
lettuce." As he finished his sentence, he turned to
find the man standing right behind him, so he added,
and this gentleman has kindly offered to buy the other
    half."

The manager approved the deal, and the man went on
    his way.

Later the manager said to the boy, "I was impressed
with the way you got yourself out of that situation
earlier. We like people who think on their feet here.
    Where are you from, son?"

    "Canada, sir," the boy replied.

"Well, why did you leave Canada?" the manager asked.

The boy said, "Sir, there's nothing but whores
    and hockey players up there."

"Really?" said the manager. "My wife is from Canada."

"No shit?" replied the boy. "Who'd she play for?"

  6. Logical Farming?

Two dirt farmers, Jim and Bob, are sitting at their favorite bar,
    drinking beer.

Jim turns to Bob and says, "You know, I'm tired of going through life without an education. Tomorrow I think I'll go! to the community college, and sign up for some classes."

Bob thinks it's a good idea, and the two leave.

The next day, Jim goes down to the college and meets the Dean of Admissions, who signs him up for the four basic classes: Math, English, history, and Logic.

    "Logic?" Jim says. "What's that?"

The dean says, "I'll show you. Do you own a weedeater?"

    "Yeah."

"Then logically speaking, because you own a weedeater, I think that you would have a yard."

    "That's true, I do have a yard."

"I'm not done," the dean says. "Because you have a yard, I think
logically that you would have a house."

"Yes, I do have a house."

"And because you have a house, I think that you might logically have a family."

    "I have a family."

"I'm not done yet. Because you have a family, then logically you must have a wife."

"Yes, I do have a wife."

"And because you have a wife, then logic tells me you must be a
    heterosexual."

"I am a heterosexual. That's amazing, you were able to find out all of that because I have a weedeater."

Excited to take the class now, Jim shakes the Dean's hand and leaves to go meet Bob at the bar.

He tells Bob about his classes, how he is signed up for Math, English, History, and Logic.

    "Logic?" Bob says, "What's that?"

Jim says, "I'll show you. Do you have a weedeater?"

    "No."

    "Then you're gay."

    Mexican Earthquake

A big, 8.1 earthquake hits Mexico.

Two million Mexicans die and over a million are injured. The country is totally ruined and the government doesn't know how to start rebuilding. The rest of the world is in shock.

Canada sends troops to help the Mexican army. Saudi Arabia sends oil. Other Latin American countries send supplies and money. The European community (except France) sends food and money.

The United States, not to be outdone, sends two million replacement Mexicans.

    God Bless America.

  9. The Auditor

Revenue Canada sends their auditor (a nasty little man) to audit a synagogue. The auditor is doing all the checks, and then turns to the Rabbi and says, "I noticed that you buy a lot of candles."

    "Yes," answered the Rabbi.

"Well, Rabbi, what do you do with the candle drippings?" he asked.

"A good question," noted the Rabbi. "We actually save them up. When we have enough, we send them back to the candle maker and every now and then, they send us a free box of candles."

"Oh" replied the auditor somewhat disappointed that his question actually had a practical answer. So he thought he'd try another question, in his obnoxious way...

"Rabbi, what about all these matzo purchases? What do you do with the crumbs from the matzo?

"Ah, yes," replied the Rabbi calmly, "we actually collect up the crumbs, we send them in a box back to the manufacturer and every now and then, they send a box of matzo balls."

"Oh," replied the auditor, thinking hard how to fluster the Rabbi. "Well, Rabbi," he went on, "what do you do with all the foreskins from the circumcisions?"

"Yes, here too, we do not waste," answered the Rabbi. "What we do is, save up all the foreskins, and when we have enough
we actually send them to Revenue Canada."

"To Revenue Canada?" questioned the auditor in disbelief.

"Ah, yes," replied the Rabbi, "directly to Revenue Canada...And about once a year, they send us a little prick like you."
