  1. Who are you to set the rules of this forum's decorum ?
Wow, this thread is full of BSD's...Big Swinging Dicks. That would include Hilmey for sure.

*shrugs* it is the guy's journal thread. To expect Baron to close it because you do not like it's content is just wacked. It is not about "forum decorum", it is just common sense?

If that logic were to ever apply, B1S2's journal threads would have been closed years ago.

What the hell. You're out of your fucking mind. It's my trading journal.

Gotta ignore your crazy ass. Wondering how old you are. Seems like Asperger's or Alzheimer's is kicking in

    Take care crazy man.

  6. It's not a trading journal, it's a "hooray for Hilmy" journal. If you had some trading stats, then the numbers might be believable. But you can't deliver under the ruse of IP protection. LOL.

Yeah, I am older and have witnessed all of the scams....Bernie Madoff, Michael Milken, Long Term Capital Management, Enron. It appears posters here are younger and more naive.

Go ahead and continue to discredit me and trash me. All you need to do is post the stats.
But you can't do it. That's the bottom line here,

Not so, lots of old timers here on ET.
You can usually tell them as they usually don't go off the deep end on rants, they're a little more composed with their moods.

Please specifically name the trade journals here @ Elitetrader.com that post performance metrics / risk metrics of their trade performance regardless to the fact that the trade journal OP also post broker statements / live video / redacted screenshots...
    • List all the trade journals that you have at least posted one time in those trade journals that do the above ???
Actually, you don't need to list them all...just some of them...such as your favourites but they can only be ones that you've posted at least one message within.

Do you remember if those other trade journals (the OP) used a professional trade journal software or used the basic statistics tool within the broker trade execution platform ???

If you don't know...just list those trade journals so that I can view the trade journals and look at the way the way the OP's of those trade journals are posting their performance metrics / risk metrics...

I'm curious to see if they're posting screenshots from their professional trade journal program, screenshots from the statistical analysis window from within their broker trade execution platform, excel spreadsheet like info or just text info typed in the message post.
    • Your lack of a reply without listing those trade journals...we'll just assume there are no trade journals as such here @ Elitetrader.com that you participate within that contain ongoing performance metrics / risk metrics (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly).
Enlighten @hilmy83 exactly what you're looking for via an example of another trade journal that has an OP doing such.

  9. LOL.

To be fair, I think @hilmy83 have been more transparent than most. And early on he was even livestreaming his trading sessions.

Come on. Who else would have had the guts to post daily losses of 83% and 30 %?

Contrast that with all the 'mentors' on this site who's busy annotating yesterday's chart, but never posted a statement or real time trade in their life.

It's very unlikely to find a trader with a huge edge who will take the time to mentor the public on ET and post the blotters to support it.

Yeah, I watched the livestreaming and when I missed a day...I then watched the recorded videos.

The reason why I was watching the livestreaming was to calculate the performance metrics / risk metrics out of my own curiosity. Didn't need him to spoon feed me his metrics from his broker trade execution platform. Anyone can calculate it themselves via knowing the time of the trades, position size, acct balance, broker leverage info the day of the trades and such.

The metrics are limited because there were not enough livestreams videos nor useful in today's different market environment. Also, I calculated a few different metrics that most traders typically do not calculate...

For example, [Tendency to increase position size after a trade loss]. It was too high @ 68%.

I prefer to see it < 20% to show control of the trading plan. In the past, I like to see it < 8% but only saw one livestreamer do such but it was someone only around about a month of trading before he disappeared.

Another metric is what I call the [abuse of leverage] but it can only be calculated by knowing his position size, account size and leverage offered by the broker at the time of the trades...hilmy83 metric for this was high too.
    • I didn't see anything in the metrics to change my view about his daytrading performance (riskier)...he does not adjust his position size management to the volatility of the day.
Than again, most daytraders do not make such an adjustment and the trade journals here at ET that I know...rarely do they reveal any verification of position size management/adjustments to the volatility of the day.

There's other traditional metrics that are good and some are bad. Anyways, these are my own quantitative statistical analysis of his trading in the livestreams. Not willing to share any other info considering most weren't viewing the livestreams when he was doing it nor interested in this thread.

I don't know if you remember, I was the vocal one here in hilmy83 thread when he was doing the livestream recommending him not to stop and/or not to delete the recorded videos if/when he stopped the livestream. I know its his digital content but I wanted him to leave the videos there because I had not finish viewing the last remaining 5 videos.

Regardless, I'm strongly curious and waiting for @syswizard reply with a list of other trade journals that do in fact post performance metrics / risk metrics by the OP of those trade journals that syswizard participates in such threads...even if he's only posted once in those threads.

Doubt I'll get a list of trade journals from him. If he does post such a list...I'll be just as curious (personal reasons) to see what the OP of those trade journals posted for metrics, format of the metrics and such.

P.S. I have some people on ignore. They may have a trade journal that I'm not viewing. Reason why I curious to see if they are someone on a list of trade journals that post performance metrics / risk metrics stats.
