Yup. Over the years I've spotted account numbers and OP's all jumped on it deleting pics. And that was just on a trading forum or two. Not youtube. Oh well.
My favourite was the guy that posted a live video showing him and his keyboard with him logging into his trading account...you could actually see the keyboard and keys he was hitting...revealing his password. An hour later he's posting that he's been hacked. wrbtrader
No, I didn't know that. And I know what an AMP statement looks like. I know the fonts, I know the spacing, and I can tell you none of it is Photoshopped. They are real numbers.
He doesn't have to. We can see the NFA and CQG fees on your statements. We know that NFA is 2 cents per contract per side, so 4 cents per RT per contract. Look at the daily statements. He's not trading thousands of contracts. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/joining-the-cme-gang.334231/page-47#post-5170231 On that last daily, 42 contracts traded RT.
Nope. That last statement is 21 contracts RT. Total commission from amp site is 3.7 per RT for NQ 77.7/3.7=21
Right. 21 contracts on 4 cents per RT NFA fee is 84 cents. I keep using the harder math. Just use the other fees, like 10 cents per RT on the clearing. Anyways, they are showing that you are not trading thousands of contracts per day. Still feel you need to lease a CME seat to make money? Mmmm? Do you still feel you need your own private Idaho to make money? Or are you chill now? Here's a hint... Be chill, make some money.
if you run a business where you can save some money on an ongoing expense would you do it? i would. I know my commissions like the back of my hand i know since 2017, NFA doubled their RT from 0.01 to 0.02 CME increased their RT from 2.36 to 2.46 and people always get confused as to how their fees will change if they become CME member. So here's the breakdown: currently amp does 3.7 RT 1.23 CME 0.1 CQG .02 NFA 0.5 AMP with membership 1.92 RT 0.36 CME 0.1 CQG 0 NFA 0.5 AMP Last year, amp told me that the CME membership for data would be $110 Average lease is about $300/month So I need my commission to clear $410 dollars to make it worthwhile . Anything over that is about 48% savings (i'm averaging 1400/month) I've paid over 10k in commission. that's already 5k in savings if i was a member. I never said being a mbmber increased my trading edge, it's just a cost advantage.
