any other amp customer here not get their 5/7 statement? i had to email these fools where the hell is my statement!? cause they say in there "failure to report errors before the start of next market session is deemed acceptance of this statement" and it's just couple hours before 5/8 cash is about to open...
i don't know when amp is sending my 5/7 statement. good thing cqg has record of prev day balance. yesterday i traded 11 contracts, so i grossed +$2315
As you know, brokers send out their broker statements late at night after settlement or soon before the open of the next trading session. Yet, as you shown in the image, the broker trade execution platform (e.g. CQG), you can get the same information. In fact, I prefer the info from the broker trade execution platform because there's usually a trade history (trade fill) window with ALL the trades for the trading day...position size, timestamp entries / exits and other quantitative statistical info about the trade performance for that particular trading day. The above info you will not find on the broker statement because it usually gives "summaries", commissions and balances info only without the position size, timestamp info as you've shown in the statements you've posted. Yet, be careful with your spam guard email program...some will flag your broker and not allow the broker statement into your inbox. For example, if you're using Gmail...you statement will arrive to your inbox but you can only go to Google Gmail website to see it is in fact in your inbox. In contrast, if you're using a email program that retrieves your gmail from Google...that email program may not deliver the email to your inbox even though its sitting their in your inbox at Google... It all depends upon the configuration of whatever 3rd party email client program you're using to retrieve your emails. I use a special 3rd party email client program that weeds out a lot of crap including viruses / malware / phishing stuff but unfortunately it's not able to receive my nightly broker statements. Thus, I have to log into my Google Gmail account to view my broker statements. It sucks but some email clients just do not "trust" broker statements for some odd reason and maybe its due to the way the "attachment" (statement) in the email...forcing you to view your broker emails that have attachments from the email host instead of using a 3rd party email client program. Simply, I prefer all the statistical info from the trade execution platform because its more in-depth about specific trades involving ALL the trades whereas the broker statement summarize info about balances stuff only. In addition, you can view the audit trail of your individual trades only in the trade execution platform...not in the broker statement. Plus, broker statements do not come with pretty looking charts of your trades whereas you can track your trades via the charts if you like it that way. wrbtrader
i've always received statements at night like you said with no issues on gmail. But i do remember on rare occassions, that AMP will send out two statements in one day. I guess this is one of those times. guess i'll wait and see
