On a serious note Wall St. Fighter turned $2,000 into 100 grand in one or two years trading options, LEAPS specifically.

The reason I believe him is because trading/blogging was not his full time endeavor. He made his money selling plants.

Maybe try that first. CA is a great place to grow!!

I just received a DM from ET's top detective. His mission is to separate the wheat from the chaff.

As it turns out, @lawrence-lugar is actually Dave Barry out of Miami. I have been had. The account is satirical and I actually fell for the panty key ring gag!

    Well done, Larry Sugar!

    BLACK BELT BODY LANGUAGE SECRETS:

Despite me thinking that @lawrence-lugar is actually Dave Barry with a satirical account I have no choice but to take him at his word.

Whether real or not he brings up an interesting point; will driving a Porsche 911 give him confidence? Will it make him cool?

The cool factor is entirely subjective and I personally believe authenticity is the "cool factor." On that front, I would say Larry Sugar is already cool. He is definitely authentic! No faking the funk on that front.

However, I will answer another question.

How can I become more confident?

Check out this pic taken from the food network:

The gentleman on the far left is exhibiting blocking behavior that we often see in court (attorneys, LEOs, the plaintiff or even the defendant). It is a great posture to display - especially when you are listening from a standing position when many eyes are on you! A Porsche won't really help at this point. The judge/audience won't care! However, for a male - especially - covering the groin in this manner will relax your body. It "tricks" your reptilian response system without raising suspicion.

The pretty one, second from the left, is also displaying blocking behavior by holding her lady bag in front of her vitals. Her smile diverts attention, thus relaxing the audience. Her good looks, according to many academic studies, cause onlookers to give her credit in areas of trust, confidence, intelligence, etc. Once again the blocking behavior deactivates the reptilian response system that is responsible for fight/flight/flee. It is comforting to you, but also displays a certain degree of awkwardness.

The other lady looks highly uncomfortable (Being on tv, maybe something the speaker is saying or just the very fact that she may lack confidence in many areas could all be the root. We don't know). However, we can assume she is a judge on this show. So, with that in mind, her expertise would suggest that she is highly confident in her own domain(s) (chef, writer, artist, songwriter, musician, athletics, etc). In this particular circumstance we not only see blocking behavior but someone holding on for dear life. The pose causes her to stand out and look uncomfortable. No big deal in this situation but imagine yourself in court addressing His Majesty.

Uncomfortableness is often confused with a lack of confidence, lying or any number of things that might pop into someone's imagination. Once again, her luxury vehicle is of no help in this situation.

So far we have not offered the first solution.

    That is next!

Check out the speaker on the far right. He is displaying what is called the truth zone.
    • While speaking keep your hands below your chest and above your waist. Both hands, all the time. Move them as much or as little as you like.
    • If you want to excite your audience (not a good idea when building trust or in court but an excellent method for manipulating the emotions of an audience) raise your hands above your heart. Your heart rate will increase along with those who are watching. In a sales situation, talking to a cop or even to your significant other when she wants to know why you didn't come home last night - excitement and elevated heart rates are not your friend. The effect is magnified by rapid movement of the hands which normally accompanies the high hands gesture.
    • Keeping your hands hanging by your sides causes your heart rate to drop; it also makes you feel uncomfortable as well. However, clasping your hands in front of your groin is a widely used technique by males (the dude on the left) that may not raise suspicion but will defintely cause the initiated to look for other clues to guage your truthfulness/trustworthiness/comfort level.
    • The truth zone is not widely known outside of the media and acting circles. This posture is better than a Porsche to both relax you and your audience. It does so by regulating your heart rate and breathing. The gentleman on the far right is not only speaking but he is the de facto leader. He owns this space and this moment. He not only displays confidence but he engenders confidence, in him, to onlookers. As humans we are hardwired to follow the leader!
This was the number one secret that I used as a door to door salesman to get appointments and contracts signed. It was also the secret that I held closest to my vest. Use this technique any time it is your turn to speak in an uncomfortable situation. I have used it from both a standing and seated position (even if I was talking to a customer on the phone and they could not see me).

When my client was speaking I would take a modified parade rest/royal walk stance with my hands clasped behind my back, exposing my vitals - always being mindful to never touch my face (often associated with lying but you may just have dry skin).

Not only will these two techniques keep you relaxed but it actually makes you CONFIDENT in stressful situations. Thus inspiring the confidence of others.

With this watch, I would be more confident in life...instead of semi-depressed, and semi-cynical, and semi-mopey and dopey all the time.
