Tell me something I should have disagreed about? My only concern right now is that I think the monetary easing has been taken too far. (Although I have nothing but "feel" to support this conclusion; I don't have the numbers the Fed has access to or the desire to sift through and try to analyze them.) But is that a Left or Right issue? Also, I think the budget deficit requires more attention, but you won't like how I think it should be dealt with. I accept and acknowledge that I am Left of center. Deal with it. As for your "shit" comment, I can only imagine that your eyes are a very deep brown...
Eric Holder's performance as Attorney General...I even mentioned the Matt Taibbi Rolling Stone article... Should Holder be remembered for his role in bringing Federal attention to Ferguson, Trayvon Martin, et al. OR should Holder be remembered for his failure to prosecute the "Too Big to Fail" investment banks?
Don't know. Didn't read the article. I wish the IBs were brought to justice. Did the government actually have the power to do so? If it did have the legal authority, then it should have done so. As for the race crimes, and that is what they were, I don't think enough has been done at any level of government. You think Obama was too supportive of blacks. I think he was walking on eggshells. I'll disagree when it suits me, not when it please you.
I'll ignore the snarky send-off...but the jist of the article is that Holder was just another part of the D.C. revolving door between govt and private practice...IOW, the firm he left to become AG was a major conflict of interest...they make millions defending Wall St against corruption charges and the fact that he promptly returned to the same firm following his tenure as AG should have been noteworthy... For the most part, I can't stand Rolling Stone's political leanings, but that doesn't stop me from reading an article that is shining a light on some form of injustice...the truth is the truth.
I agree. That is indeed noteworthy. However, I don't know enough of the details to comment beyond that.
What about failure to prosecute blacks intimidating voters at polling place even when caught on camera? As AG, Holder was a POS. Emmanuel, also a POS. Everything and everybody surrounding Odumbo smells like an outhouse.
An affront? I see it as a compliment for two reasons. One, you think I lean right, and two you used the word "fair" in there. Thank you. But I am still not a member of the media, like you said. And I still would like to know why Stewart met at the White House and what was discussed.
