John McCain: iPads And iPhones Are Made In The U.S.A.

McCain (R-AZ) on Sunday claimed Apple's iPads and iPhones are made in America.

This Week host Christiane Amanpour described ABC's efforts to empty a house of all products manufactured outside the U.S., after which McCain touted the Apple products' American-made roots.

"I would also point out that if you emptied that house there ... if you left a computer there, or an iPad, or an iPhone, those are built in the United States of America," McCain said.

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. told Congress last week that the way out of Obama’s record unemployment crisis is to “give each ghetto kid an Ipod and a laptop.”

Because we all know that the way out of any crisis is to sink more taxpayer money into it.
Just ask any democrat.

 

Two different things. You only get 57 if you do the math on the phrase fragments that Obama was saying out loud. But McCain actually said those items were made in the US, we don't have to take an extra step to arrive at absurdity.

To rightist non-intellectuals (redundant, I know, LOL) these things are baffling.
