sounds like you actually want ron paul. obama is a socialist and mccain is worse than bush and maybe dumber if that is possible... throw in a touch of nutcase. the only talent obama has is he can blather for an hour without mentioning any substance. i just shake my head when he talks about change.... thats all he says.. change change change.... is he talking about his underwear cause i aint hearing any issues.
What's not to like about Ron Paul? Sure i like him, he speaks the truth. Problem is, his approach to government requires perfect people. Something we don't have.
Obama and Clinton are both experienced, intelligent, well-educated, energetic, articulate, and apparently mentally stable; five (and possibly six) qualities missing from our present President. Any one possessing those six qualities would make a fine president.
I just saw a clip of McCain speechifying, just some standard rhetoric. One thing's for sure; if it's Obama vs. McCain, the Republicans are going to have to do something about McCain's oratory. I nearly fell asleep listening to a bit that Obama would have turned into a crowd-pleaser. It doesn't matter about the substance in this sense; appearances count for a lot.
Yes, of course. President Harvard Law Review, Professor of Constitutional Law, University of Chicago, Director Illinois Project Vote in 1992. Illinois Senator, United States Senator, among other things.
they aren't leaving us a choice. hillary and mccain are repulsive. other than obama's positions and the fact he is being handled by shady characters... he is a likable guy. i wish he would free himself of the globalists and denounce his statements about attacking pakistan and what a big threat iran is. but that is why he is the front runner now... cause he is inline with their wishes. we have 3 war hawks to choose from... and obama is suppose to be the anti-war candidate. it shows you how well they have this planned. poor guy has no idea what he is in for..... he has no clue how they work. i actually feel sorry for him right now... tomorrow i may not.
LOL, I like that viewpoint. I think the problem with Ron Paul is that the public is borderline retarded. They don't understand & don't want to understand. They do as the media tells them.
Exactly. He's more than qualified to teach law at Harvard or any other Ivy League school. He's got absolutely no experience to be Commander In Chief, no foreign policy experience, no economic experience, no leadership experience, no executive experience. I will most likely vote for him over John McAmnesty but he is undoubtedly by far the least experienced and qualified of all the remaining candidates.
John McCain's abysmal record as a "conservative:" IMMIGRATION: he wrote the bill granting amnesty to illegal immigrants (co-sponsored by Ted Kennedy) SOCIAL SECURITY: he voted to give your social security money to illegal immigrants TAXES: he voted against the Bush tax cuts multiple times (but still campaigns as a lifelong tax-cutter) FIRST AMENDMENT: he wrote the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill that was declared to be an unconstitutional infringement of the 1st Amendment (co-sponsored by ultra-liberal Democrat Russ Feingold) SECOND AMENDMENT: he was called the 'worst 2nd amendment candidate' by the president of the NRA ENERGY TAX: wrote a bill (co-sponsored by his buddy Sen. Joe Lieberman) imposing a massive tax on energy which, according to the Department of Energy, would drastically raise the price of gasoline. GLOBAL WARMING: supports radical global warming legislation JUDGES: he joined with Democrats (Gang of 14) to block the Senate Republican's attempt to confirm conservative, strict constructionist judges. GAY MARRIAGE: he joined liberals to fight against a federal marriage amendment CHRISTIANS: In 2000, he famously described Christian leaders as 'agents of intolerance' ABORTION: he filed an amicus brief against pro-life advocates in Wisconsin BI-PARTISANSHIP: he met with leading Democrats in 2004 to discuss the possibility of being John Kerry's VP. ETHICS: ringleader of the infamous Keating 5 ethical scandal which cost US tax payers $160 billion PERSONAL: McCain cheated on his first wife after she had a severe accident. He then divorced her and married his multi-millionaire mistress, whose daddy bought McCain a spot in the Congress.
