  4. Perhaps I am mistaken, but didn't both of these men gain notoriety after they created wealth in their respective crafts? Certainly Mr. Soros did. As for Mr. Trump, is he not an attention-seeking diva himself?

Unless he is already wealthy as a result of his trading, I think that your "said party" wishes to place the cart before the horse. The ride is usually downhill from there.

  5. You seem quite knowledgeable, may I pose a question? Does the turtle system actually still work as it is presented on original turtle?

    Thanks.

I found it interesting that they bought as soon as the price ticked to a breakout.
most breakout advocasts such as gary b smith say he likes the breakout to be strong with a lot of volume.

I do not think the system as it is presented word for word will provide incredible results (+20% etc). There probably has to be some development that has occured. The basis of the system still holds true however details need to be added for the current market. However, take a look at the results of one of the persons who actually wrote the rules for that website:

Very impressive results. Anyone with trading records since 1985 averaging a 45% annualized return has to be doing something right in my book.

KevinK> Keep in mind these rules were from the 1980s when breakouts of important chart points were much much more reliable in nature than it is now when there is a lot of counter trend action.

  9. Then the breakout is over my friend. You cant follow, you need to lead in this game.
