No time to wait to do it correctly. Clear and present danger they said. Now they're pumping the brakes.

    Idiots

it ain't the dems pumping the brakes on the wheels of justice. You got "of course I won't be impartial" McConnell to thank for that.

Just bring the articles of impeachment, there is no presumption of a negotiation between the House and Senate.

  4. Yeh. Right. And how impartial are the dems?

Most of the dem senators announced that they were going to impeach him -before he even made the Ukraine call- as soon as they could find a reason.

Uh huh. Let's see now. Skank Harris, Bernie, Schumer, Biden, Booker, Warren. Bunch of clown that not only had already announced that they would impeach him, but are/were political opponents who need to see him removed to get to the white house themselves. How frigging impartial you think that is Cowboy?

Clown show. Get this done, so that you can get back to your clown election, and get ready for your whiney, sorry-arse shellacking in November.

If the dems have a procedural gripe, then they can take it up with the Presiding Justice at the trial, John Roberts. Not fucking Nancy Pelosi.

The justice system deals with people charged with crimes. When Trump is charged with a crime and faces a grand jury then your post might be more relevant.

  6. Even in the justice system, the jury does not decide which witnesses are called, especially the grand jury. You don't - for example- have a grand jury jury send a note to the judge saying "we have voted to indict but we are not going to transmit the indictment to you unless you agree to have witnesses that we want or to conduct the trial as we want. Nope. And that is what Pelosi wanted. The issue of witnesses might be valid but it is for the trial judge to decide. And in an impeachment it is for the Presiding Justice to decide but ultimately it is different than the criminal system because the Senators sit as jurors but can also over-rule the Presiding Justice. But it is that way because the Constitution provides for that. It does not provide that power to the House.

    WOMP....womp....womp.
