I have both of Joe's Krutsingers books. Definitely worth the money. He has lots of interesting ideas that I haven't seen anywhere else. He also understands and explains well which part of a system's statistics you have to look at. I spoke to him a few years ago, and was impressed with his approach. That being said, I do find his 10k consulting gig a bit on the silly side. But he's not the only one doing that, so draw your own conclusions.
