Joe Walsh to primary Trump

Do I need to change from Independent to Republican to help the cause?

 

This guy is on the radio here in Chicago, a real windbag. If an ill advised rumble with Trump will end his show permanently, I'm all for it!

I like the idea of someone "primarying" Trump but not a douchebag. Then it is just wasted effort.

 

He should run as an independent

 

I don't exactly follow how "primarying" Trump would work in the real world. I mean the mechanics of it. I know some blowhard can announce that he is doing this and that just to get more viewers, listeners, attention whatever BUT the RNC has voted/decided that it is not going to hold primaries and that Donald J. Trump will be the party's nominee so how does all that work then?
