WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman (news, bio, voting record) won re-election on Tuesday after losing the Democratic nomination in August to an opponent of the
Iraq war and running as an independent.

Television networks ABC and NBC projected that Lieberman beat Democratic nominee Ned Lamont and Republican Alan Schlesinger. Lieberman has pledged to vote with Democrats if re-elected.

  5. That comment was made even before good 'ol "Israel firster" Joe declared he was going to run as an independent.

Quite clairvoyant ... NOT. the first mention of Lieberman considering running as a independent was on the 9th, (you made the prediction after the news ...)

Even if you did make this prediction, you're still an insane, piece-of-shit, whose in desperate need of increasing your medication. The elections are "rigged" ... god, you're a waste of space.

By the way, we don't live in Democracy, we live in a federal republic.

  8. With Allens loss in Viginia, guess who has the "tie breaker vote"

Now take a quick guess as to who is the most powerful man in America, and by proxy the most powerful man in the world.

  10. Joelib is the most selfish politician you'll come across.. mind you, repulsive and a bigot... Remember his VP stint with Gore when he refused to give up his senate campaign claiming that 'the people' are asking him to run for senator as well!! And now he shafts his party & runs as an independent for the love of the country! Yea sure... Don't think he's made many friends on the Dem side of the fence.
