I'm confused. Where is all the rage from the left. Do you only rage when people brainwash you to do it? Do you only do it when the media and the elite tell you to? Is that when you react? When you're programmed to?
We'll tear down the statues of Biden's ancestors that were slave holders. We transferred the rage to you.
As if America is the only country that had slaves. Don't people realize that there were slaves in Africa, and it was African slave owners that traded their own people to outsiders in the first place? Oy!
People wanted statues of actual proud slave owners who favored over throwing the U.S. taken down, no one ever said anything bad about someone who 6-8 generations ago owned slaves in the South... If your grandfather was a wife beater, does that make you one too?
So they put guns to the heads of Europeans and made them buy slaves to ship to the Americas? Europeans also simply went in and took people without need to "buy" them... Slaves is something that happens when a country or army vanquishes another (lest we forget the original famous slaves of Egypt) and been going on for centuries so no one's ancestors going back numerous generations is clean of wrongdoing. I hope no one goes after Biden or McConnel over this shit...but they will...
Only if grandpa had a statue in the town square. I bet Treefrog's people have one somewhere. Not a wife-beater, but didn't he say he hails back to the Pilgrims or something? Whoever it was that was on the Mayflower. I dunno, maybe it was GWB. I forget.
Nah man...The African tribal lords sold the slaves to those European explorers who were looking for cheep labor, and the African lords who controlled the country said OK, we need the money, here, have your pick of the litter. That's how I think it has been going down in Africa for thousands of years. Sure, there was some conquest going in in Europe and slaves were being taken. But in Africa? I think it really was a barter system back in those days.
It should be noted that the system of slavery was in place in Africa centuries before the Arab slave traders and Europeans showed up. Today, Africa still has the highest slavery rate and largest number of people held in slavery on the face of the earth -- over 9.2 million in 2016 and over 10 million in 2020 by most estimates.
