So? You’re mad Biden glad-handed our way out of Afghanistan and left in way that protects the last of our troops. Whatever.

Americans got out safe and sound. I’m sorry you’re all upset about that. I hope you feel better?

  2. Wrong.

Americans are not out safe and sound. We still have an embassy there.

In regard to be being upset- as you put it- I was just asking for an explanation of how Biden can meet with the Afghan president at the White House and tell him "we have your back" and "we are going to stick with you" at the very exact same time that the looters have breached and infiltrated the Bhagram Air Base because the Americans cut and ran like thieves in the night with ZERO coordination with the city and military so they allege.

The district administrator for the town of Bagram, Darwaish Raufi, told the Associated Press that since the troops' departure was not coordinated with local officials, the airfield's gates were not secured. This allowed looters to unlawfully enter before Afghan forces could secure the airfield. "Unfortunately the Americans left without any coordination with Bagram district officials or the governor's office," Raufi said.

We get it though. You don't have an answer and we are told that Joe is not to be interrupted on a Friday when his mind is already off enjoying the weekend.

Wait for next week when you will have the official script that you are supposed to follow. You are not doing well without it but I understand. The white house has not told you what you think yet.

  3. The US military left Bagram Airfield - its key base in Afghanistan - in the dead of night without notifying the Afghans, the base's new commander said.

General Asadullah Kohistani told the BBC that the US left Bagram at 03:00 local time on Friday, and that the Afghan military found out hours later.

Bagram also contains a prison, and there are reportedly up to 5,000 Taliban prisoners left in the facility.

The Taliban have been advancing rapidly in Afghanistan as US troops withdraw.

General Kohistani said on Monday that Afghan forces were expecting the Taliban to attack Bagram.

Speaking to reporters at the airbase, he said he was already receiving reports the group was making "movements in rural areas" nearby.

"You know, if we compare ourselves with the Americans, it's a big difference," Gen Kohistani said. "But according to our capabilities... we are trying to do the best and as much as possible secure and serve all the people."

  4. How Putin could jam up Biden’s post-Afghanistan plans

The U.S. is looking at basing troops in Central Asia to help ensure Kabul doesn’t fall. But Moscow is working to complicate the withdrawal.

The U.S. may need the help of an old foe in extricating itself from America's longest war: Vladimir Putin.

The Biden administration has in recent weeks quietly engaged Central Asian governments in the hope of using one or more of the countries as bases after the withdrawal is complete. The U.S. has two main requests: a staging post for keeping an eye on terrorist activity in Afghanistan, and temporarily hosting thousands of Afghans seeking visas.

But Moscow could use its significant economic and military influence in the region to jam up those plans, U.S. officials and experts say.

  5. Howz Biden coming along with this latest batch of Russian hacking?

Last time we saw the lefties post memes and ballsy comments about how Joe had Putin shakin in his boots.

Idiots. It's open playing season for anyone in the world who does not wish America well and they are all taking full advantage of it. Yeh sure. Sleepy Joe is out there shaking his fist and telling them to get off his lawn. That's scary stuff. I hope the wind doesn't blow him over the way it did when he fell on the airplane steps.

Oh, I see. Joe is speaking directly to Putin on it. Probably going to promise them another pipeline or the Ukraine if they behave themselves. Maybe give them some infrastructure funds.

  6. What a crock this is. So Hunter will mysteriously be receiving high bids on his artwork from "secret admirers."

White House wants to keep Hunter Biden from knowing who buys his expensive artwork under proposed ethics plan

    • Hunter Biden is expected to sell some of his artwork this fall for as much as $500,000 — but he may never learn who buys it.
    • In recent months, White House officials have worked on an ethics plan that would shield the identities of those who bid on the president’s son’s artwork, The Washington Post reported.
    • The plan, which has been criticized by ethics experts, is meant to prevent a wealthy individual from currying favors with Hunter or his powerful family by paying a handsome sum for the paintings.

  7. Carlos Slim, of course, being the richest man in the world, at one point anyway. I wonder what Hunter brings to the conversation.

Biden Inc.: Hunter, Joe, and the Mexican Oligarchs

"Hunter had other meetings with Carlos Slim and associates in Mexico. Those came after he flew there with his father on Air Force Two, just as he had flown to similar business meetings in China. "

  9. Garcetti turned LA into the slums of Delhi so now he is fleeing to India. Makes sense I guess.

"An ambassadorship in the Biden administration gives Garcetti a new career path away from electoral politics. But it also opens him to criticism that he is abandoning Los Angeles as it grapples with an intractable homelessness crisis and rising gun violence."
