Chris Christie (R)... twice elected with the Democrats in control. Larry Hogan (R)... twice elected with the Democrats in control. Charlie Baker (R)... twice elected with the Democrats in control. Jon Bel Edwards (D)... twice elected with the Republicans in control. Steve Bullock(D) ... twice elected with the Republicans in control. How often did those states go the opposite way in presidential races?Or even close? How did Christie and Bulluck do in their party primaries? Governor and Presidential race differences is politics 101 level shit.
Ill add that Bill Clinton got a lot of help from Ross Perot.Clinton only got 43% of the popular vote in 92.Most Dems can win only needing 43% of the popular vote.
Come on Tony...don't be shy in your comparison of Bullock in Montana from the west versus Beshear from Kentucky. Bullock failed to acknowledge the large numbers of black and Latino voters who live in Montana as farmers. Beshear acknowledges them in Kentucky, set up clean energy projects for them although many rural communities in southwestern Kentucky did the Tubervillism dance, and he has the support of private and public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). I don't think Montana has any HBCUs while Kentucky has a few...I'm too lazy to look that up to know for sure. Also, Beshear approved 345 projects to receive funding through the Kentucky Soil and Water Conservation Commission for farmers...many of whom are Latino. Bullock wasn't able to do anything near Beshear accomplishments because Bullock didn't build a relationship with them like Beshear. The exception, Bullock has a stronger relationship with Native Americans than Beshear but that makes sense considering Native Americans in Montana are a larger voting group than Native Americans in Kentucky. Montana has more Native Americans with more resources. Yet, I do remember seeing a listing at a Lakota school in South Dakota that the low percentage Native Americans in Kentucky has a higher SAT score mean than Native American students in Montana. Kentucky SAT score mean is ranked 8th nationwide while Montana SAT score mean is ranked 10th nationwide here in 2023. In my opinion, it's obvious one of them supports teachers and supports equal education for all Kentuckians while the other didn't put emphasis on such...emphasis on the all. Bullock dropped out of the 2019 Democrat nomination race...some say to poor funding. Bashear states he has no desire to seek a Democrat nomination race because he still has unfinish work to do for all Kentuckians. Bashear would still be my #1 alternative to a Biden repeat but he would need help from my Independent #1 alternative to take votes away from Trump...Cheney. Once again, you're still lost and looking down the wrong aisle at the local fish & bait store. If you're ever in Kentucky...I highly recommend you try live shad or skipjack herring as fish bait. That's what I use to catch Bass, Catfish, and Trout...pack them up for shipment to Mom in Illinois and my other brother in South Dakota. wrbtrader
Says the guy that thinks a red state dem has good shot at winning the presidency.Once again, you're still lost and cant even find the local fish & bait store.
I would only agree with your funny reply if Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter never became President. Yet, I do agree your reply is funny. Please post some more polls to entertain others. wrbtrader
Beshear only got 78% of the black vote in KY the republican got 16.Thats a loss in a presidential race
Beshear is not running for President. In contrast, your comparison of Bulluck...he couldn't even win the Democratic nomination. Simply, I'm laughing at your comparison. wrbtrader
