I take it all back on the constitutional bit. Ran back and looked up amendment 20, and here it is in section 3... "If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified..." That's it? That's all the founding fathers gave us? Pshaaaw!
Not sure what is so hard to understand about this--- There is no President-Elect until Congreff certifies the election on Jan 6 or later up until Jan 20
The only constitutional provision pertaining directly to the person who has won the presidential election is their availability to take the oath of office.[1] The Presidential Transition Act of 1963 empowers the General Services Administration to determine who the apparent election winner is According to the The Presidential Transition Act of 1963,Joe Biden is the President-elect.
By the way, B1, I will acknowledge your little funny there... That is the second time in this thread you typed "Congreff". We get it, it is how they drew the letter "s" on the old documents, etc etc. We get it! Wheeeee!
"Joe Biden is literally and legally not the president-elect. So why is the media pretending he is?" https://elitetrader.com/et/threads/...-so-why-is-the-media-pretending-he-is.353266/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_transition
