I don't want to get too far into the weeds and there is no punchline here, but the DNC eliminated the ability of "superdelegates" to vote on the first ballot at the convention, as a concession to/beat-down from the bernie camp. That will make it farrrrr easier for the dems to put up a non-traditional loon than in previous years, if the loon can get the votes on the first ballot. After that all the traditional party duds/ie superdelegates get to vote and they will want..welll....errrr....a traditional dud. Such as Biden.
