In this instance...yes. Kind of like when you tell your wife she doesnt look fat in those jeans, or that you can keep your doctor if you want to.
Many top jobs have been doing this since the 80's. Not sure why its a big deal now unless its becoming common place for entry level jobs . Also, doesn't the military still ask recruits to cough up their ACT or SAT scores ?
Outside America, some companies administer IQ and personality tests. They want to know raw intelligence and more about how the person thinks so as to ensure a good fit, if such is possible by testing. No big deal.
Yeah. The true problem is that people are lazy. And to compensate for their laziness they have to lie about their gpa's and the sat scores.
